Noriyuki Haga trounced his competition in the first race, on a Yamaha. Bayliss took the holeshot and had a serious lead, but then it appeared he had tire problems and had to settle for 4th.

In the second race no one could touch Bayliss on the Ducati.

Next year is going to be real interesting, what with Ducati getting a 20 percent increase in engine displacement. 1200cc twins will have to run air restrictors and 4 kg more weight than the fours, to be fair.

But, really, does anyone think Ducati WON'T run away with the championship next year?
