Default LED turn signals blink too fast - how to fix this?

Hey,

I put some really cool LED turn signals on my Triumph 675, and they blink way too fast. I remember (a long time ago) using some sort of resistor to slow down the blinking. But I don't remember what kind of resistor, or whether it was wired in series or parallel.

Can someone shed some "light" on this subject?

I'm having trouble with putting LED signals on my Hypermotard, same issue. I purchased Targa resistors intended for this, but they did not work. I think it's because I replace LED signals (stock) with aftermarket LEDs, and they're a different resistance than conventional bulbs. So back to the drawing board.
